Can Influencer Marketing Hurt Your SEO

Do you want to improve your business’ online presence? If you are considering SEO and influencer marketing to your strategy, there are plenty of things you need to learn first before you organize any seo campaign in Malaysia.

Some people say that sponsored links from online influencers can negatively impact one’s SEO strategy. This is because Google can see that it is not a naturally earned link. If true, then this can be a frustrating aspect of Google’s guidelines and search engine optimization.

It is correct that Google acknowledges influencer marketing links as “paid.” As we all know, influencer marketing is an efficient way to drive in more views to your website. Paying online influencers by providing them free services and products is a good tactic that predates the online world.

To be guided accordingly, read the FTC guidelines on giving away products to be promoted and reviewed. Understand all of its content before starting any influencer marketing campaign.

Obviously, not all online influencers will agree to link to your website, and not all of them would like your product.

Providing them a specific product hoping that they will post a review, produce videos about it, or utilize it for an upcoming project is no different than if they had bought it in a shop. At the end of the day, they will decide on their own. The guideline doesn’t make sense because Google has no method of knowing which circumstance it is.

What if you offer the products for free, in exchange of a positive review? Well, that’s a different matter.

Are you determined to implement in an efficient influencer marketing strategy? Your goal must be to expand the audience of your services and products. You can expect reviews and links, but these should merely be secondary objectives. Google can’t penalize you that marketing technique.
